Mildred Kaercher

WATERBURY- Mildred G. Kaercher, 91, passed away Thursday September 26, 2013 at Waterbury Hospital.

She was born in Waterbury on January 6, 1922 daughter of the late Albert and Addie (Bradley) Kaercher.

Mildred was a graduate of Wilby High School. She was an employee of Anaconda Brass where she was an Administrative Assistant prior to her retirement twenty nine years ago. Mildred was a longtime member of Mill Plain Union Church in Waterbury where she taught Sunday School, and sang in the Choir. She was also a member of the Guild and Waterbury Women's Club.

She is survived by two nieces June and her husband Robert DeMichiel of Northfield, and Linda and her husband Robert Samele of Torrington; one great nephew Christopher Samele; and two great great niece and nephew Melissa Samele and Christopher Samele, Jr. She was predeceased by a niece Marion Seitz.

Arrangements- A Funeral Service for Mildred will be held 11 A.M Tuesday October 1, 2013 at The Alderson Funeral Home of Waterbury, 9 Holmes Ave, 06710. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery, 850 Meriden Road, Waterbury, 06705. Calling hours will be held from 10 A.M until the time of the service at the funeral home. Donations in her name may be made to Mill Plain Union Church, 242 Southmayd Road, Waterbury, 06705.
