Loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather
PROSPECT — Henry Mikulski, 82, passed away Saturday morning, Aug. 11, 2012, at Waterbury Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Lore (Kopp) Mikulski.
Henry was born in Klaski, Poland, on Nov. 19, 1929, and immigrated to the United States with his wife and son in 1957. After five years in Naugatuck, he moved to Prospect where he spent the rest of his life. Henry worked at Risdon Manufacturing in Naugatuck for 25 years until his retirement in 1989. He spent his remaining years watching both his garden and his family grow.
Besides his loving wife of 60 years, Henry is survived by two sons, Mark Mikulski and his wife, Laurie, of Prospect, and Tom Mikulski and his wife, Nancy, of Nashville; a brother, Marian Mikulski of Poland; five grandchildren, Erica Humphreys, and Justin, Jessica, Jon and Jared Mikulski; and a great-grandson, Forrest Humphreys.
Henry's funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Anthony's Church, 4 Union City Road, Prospect, on Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012, at 10 a.m. Family and friends are asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will be in Prospect Cemetery. Friends may call at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 26 Waterbury Road (Route 69), Prospect, on Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m.
