Michael A. Tripodina

CHESHIRE-Michael A. Tripodina, 79, passed away Sunday, May 7, 2023 at Benchmark Senior Living at Hamden.  He was the husband of Rhonda (Vosburgh) Tripodina.

Michael was born July 26, 1943 in Waterbury, Ct., son of the late James and Florence (Terzano) Tripodina. He was a life-long Cheshire resident and graduated from Cheshire High School in 1961.

Michael was a good friend to all and was very generous whether it was donating greenhouse space and materials to the Garden Club or building batting cages for the local school.  In his younger years he was also on the Cheshire volunteer fire department.  He was an avid muscle car collector and enthusiast.  He was the owner of GroWell, Inc. which manufactured commercial greenhouses and was a grower as well.

In addition to his wife of 58 years, Michael leaves behind his daughters, Amy (Jeff) Fleck and Wendy Tripodina, his beloved grandson Blake, and his brothers, Raymond (Caron) Tripodina, and Vincent Tripodina.  He was predeceased by his sisters, Frances, Flora, Ann, Josephine, and Jean.

His family would like to thank the caring ladies and nurses of Benchmark who took such wonderful care of him with kindness and compassion.

Arrangements-- Funeral services will be held at the First Congregational Church of Cheshire on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. Friends are asked to meet directly at church. Burial will be held at a later date.
