NAUGATUCK- Mr. Michael Leon Imler, 68, of Naugatuck, passed away Thursday evening Jan. 15, 2015 at the Glendale Center in Naugatuck. He was the husband of Judith A. (Forstrom) Imler
Mike was born in Galesburg, Ill., Sept. 12, 1946, a son of the late Clifford and Gertrude (Johnson) Imler and was educated in the Galesburg school system and a graduate of Galesburg High School. He has been a Naugatuck resident since 1978, moving here from Bridgeport. He was a member of the Easton Covenant Church and a retired in 2011 as an employee of Curtis Packaging Co. of Sandy Hook.
Besides his wife, of 46 years Judy, he leaves two sons, Jason M. Imler of Browns Mills, N.J., and Gregory E. Imler of Hamden, CT; one brother Dennis Imler of Burlington, Iowa and one grandson Derek Imler of Browns Mills, N.J.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday Jan. 21, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
