Melissa Ann Gagnon

Melissa “Missy” Ann Gagnon, 54, of Plymouth, passed away on July 21, 2024. Melissa was born on August 25, 1969 in Waterbury, CT to Mary Chandler Glidden and the late Roger Paul Gagnon.

Melissa graduated from Middlebury High School in Middlebury, VT with the class of 1988. She was an avid reader, juggling as many as four novels at a time. She enjoyed Stephen King and Law and Order, a passion she passed on to her children. Melissa was known to be unapologetically herself, and her spirited personality left a lasting memory and impact on all who knew her.

Melissa is survived by her children: Katrina and Charlene Higgins of Wolcott, CT, and Ashley and Joseph Quadrato of Oakville, CT. She also leaves her mother, Mary (Chandler) Glidden (Ray Lyman), and her fiancé, Kevin Depatie of Plymouth. Melissa will also be remembered by her siblings: Roger Gagnon of FL, Sherri Yashenko of NY, and Brenda Catanzaro of TX. She is also survived by her grandson Lucas Quental, whom she affectionately called “her squishy.” She also leaves many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins who she loved dearly.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Melissa’s life at the Polish American Club in Naugatuck, CT on Sunday, August 11, 2024 at 2:00 P.M.
