Maureen Davis

CHESHIRE, CT - Maureen Murphy Davis, 77, died Thursday March 8, 2012 at her home in Cheshire. She was the wife of the late Charles Davis.

Mrs. Davis was born and raised in Warwick, RI the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Adams) Murphy. After marrying her husband Charles, they had five children Lynda, David, Karen, Christopher and Charles. The family were longtime residents of Webster and Dudley, MA before retiring to Florida.

Mrs. Davis is survived by her children Lynda Elkind and her husband Brant, Karen Capasso and her husband Douglas, David Davis, Charles Davis and his wife Melinda; her five grandchildren Sharon, Jenna, Caroline, Christopher, and Jason; her two great grandsons Jack and Cal Wilson; as well as her much loved dog Nori. She is predeceased by her son Christopher and her brother Jack.

Arrangements - Funeral services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family and there are no calling hours. The Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire is assisting with arrangements.
