WATERBURY — George H. Maskell, 62, of 25 Pritchard Road, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 30, 2010, at Saint Mary's Hospital with his loving family at his side. He was the husband of Colleen (Freeman) Maskell.
George was born on Dec. 14, 1947, in Cobbleskill, N.Y., a son of the late Alma and George Maskell. He worked as a construction worker for R.D. Scinto Inc. in Shelton.
Besides his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Ginger Maskell of Middlebury, Dawn Cordone of Waterbury and Denise Scott of Eddington, Maine; two sons, George H. Maskell Jr. of Dexter, Maine and Jeremy Scott of Carmel, Maine; by his birth mother, Edwina Theroux of Maine; and three sisters, Wilma Recor of Delaware, Deanna Little of Maine and Shelley O'Rouke of Maine. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren and his beloved dog, Harley. He was predeceased by two sisters, Janet Brassbridge and Velma Gadwah, and one brother, Clyde Maskell.
Funeral services and burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours, and the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave., Naugatuck, is in charge of arrangements.
