Marylou A. Bristol

Marylou A. Bristol, age 85, passed away on Friday, October 4, 2019 at The Watermark at East Hill in Southbury, Connecticut. She was the wife of the late Franklin B. Bristol, Jr. Marylou was born on July, 26, 1934 in New Jersey, daughter of the late Lowell and Mary (Bolman) Aistrup. She formerly resided in Kennett Square and West Chester, Pennsylvania.

Marylou was a graduate of Bucknell University and later became a part-time school teacher. She enjoyed playing piano and bridge, volunteered at Winterthur Museum, and was an active member of the Junior Women’s League.

Marylou is survived by her two daughters Brenda Battin of Scottsdale, Arizona and Betsy Nordell of Greenfield, Massachusetts, three step-sons Benjamin Bristol of State College, Pennsylvania, Robert Bristol of East Haddam, Connecticut, and William Bristol of Paoli, Pennsylvania, and several grandchildren.

A Graveside Service for Marylou will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 11:00AM in Middlebury Cemetery, Cemetery Road, Middlebury, Connecticut.
