CHESHIRE - Mary Lillian Reilly Seefahrt, 88, passed away Saturday, June 5, 2010 at Verde Valley Medical Center, while on a trip to Sedona, AZ.
Mrs. Seefahrt was born in New Haven and served as a 1st Lieut. in the Army Nurse Corps in France during WWII.
Mrs. Seefahrt is survived by her daughter Maureen A. Sommer of Waterbury; her son Arthur M. Seefahrt of New Britain, PA; her granddaughter Dr. Erika Rowe & great-grandson Kole of Peoria, AZ; her grandsons Arthur M. Seefahrt, Jr. of Pittsburgh, PA & Kurt Seefahrt of New Britain, PA. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 53 years, Arthur R. Seefahrt & her daughter Barbara McInally.
Arrangements - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday July 10, 2010at 11a.m. at St. Thomas Becket Church, 435 North Brooksvale Road, Cheshire. Friends will be received at church beginning at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Bridget's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations on behalf of Mary Seefahrt can be made to RSDS (Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy Syndrome) P.O. Box 502, Milford, CT 06460 or online at www.rsds.org/6/donate.html. The Alderson Funeral Home of Chehsire, 615 S. Main St. is assisting with arrangements.
