Cheshire - Mary Maloney, 86, passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020 at her home. She was the wife of the late Allan Maloney.

Mrs. Maloney was born September 27, 1934, in Oneida, NY, the daughter of the late Wilfred and Frances (Webb) Lowe. She was raised in Syracuse and graduated from Syracuse University. She proudly served her country as a member of the U.S. Army. She was a longtime resident of Cheshire moving to town in 1960. She was a communicant of St. Bridget of Sweden Parish.

Mrs. Maloney is survived by her daughter Jill Newman and her husband Matthew of Cheshire; her son Robert Maloney and his wife Lori of East Hartford; her grandchildren Max Maloney, Frazier Maloney, Nate Newman, Brett Newman, Meredith Newman and Rebecca Newman; as well as her great grandchildren Maverick Maloney and Gabriel Gleim. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her son Curt Maloney; her sister Jill Little; and her brother Dick Lowe.

Arrangements – A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 31, 2020, at 10:00 AM at St. Bridget of Sweden Parish-St. Bridget Church, 175 Main St., Cheshire. Friends are asked to meet directly at church. Burial will follow at Cheshire Hillside Cemetery. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire is assisting with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.
