Mary Louise Sargentelli

NAUGATUCK - Mary Louise Sargentelli, 89, formerly of Beacon Falls and Bridgeport, passed away Sunday, December 9, 2018 at her home in Naugatuck. She was the wife of Gerald F. Sargentelli.

Mrs. Sargentelli was born one of 10 children June 21, 1929 in Worcester, MA, the daughter of the late Frank and Margarita (Lopriore) DeMaria. She was a longtime employee of A and P Grocery Stores. She was an avid bowler who won various awards and had met many pro-bowlers over the years. Before moving to Naugatuck in 2017, she had resided in Beacon Falls for over 20 years and Bridgeport prior to her time in Beacon Falls. In addition to bowling with her husband, she enjoyed traveling and trips to the casinos

Besides her husband of 66 years, Mrs. Sargentelli is survived by her daughters Sandra Merry and her husband Bob of Ansonia and Susan Mierzejewski and her husband Patsy of Stratford; her sisters Katherine Sbrogna and Michelina Bombard; her brother Patsy DeMaria; her grandchildren Stephen Angelucci, Brian Angelucci, Joseph Angelucci, Kevin Angelucci, Kristin Merry, Adrienne Merry, Christopher Mierzejewski, Jason Mierzejewski; her great grandchildren J-Xavier Thompson, Emily Parrot, Damon Mierzejewski and Briana Mierzejewski.

Arrangements – Funeral services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family and there are no calling hours. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck is assisting with arrangements.
