Mary LeVasseur

WATERBURY - Mary A. LeVasseur, 65, of Waterbury and formerly of Naugatuck passed away Thursday November 19, 2010 at Mid-State Medical Center in Meriden. She was the wife of Denis LeVasseur.

Mary was born January 28, 1945 in Waterbury the daughter of the late Anthony and Mildred (Denisavage) Daunis. She was a Wilby High School Graduate and received her Associates from Post College.

Besides her husband of over forty years, Mary is survived by her son Denis Jr. of Waterbury; her daughters Vicki of Waterbury, Dawne Peschell and her husband John of West Haven; Amy of East Dennis, MA; her brother John Daunis of Middlebury; her sisters Elizabeth Malesky and her husband Fred of East Dennis, MA Theresa Zenni of Southbury; and her two grandchildren Jacob McKnight and Anthony Peschell. She is predeceased by her son Todd and her brother Bob.

Arrangements - Funeral services will be held on Monday November 22, 2010 8:45 a.m. from the Alderson Funeral Home of Waterbury, 9 Holmes Ave., to St. Francis Xavier Church for Mass at 9:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 4 to 6 at the funeral home.
