CHESHIRE – Mary A. Jentzen, 88, passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at Masonicare Health Center in Wallingford. She was the wife of the late Louis Jentzen.

Mrs. Jentzen was born February 1, 1936, in New Haven, daughter of the late Dr. Robert S. and Mary (Farrington) Golden. She was a retired dental hygienist.

Mrs. Jentzen leaves behind her his two sons, Peter F. and his wife Janice Jentzen of Canton, GA, and Louis J. Jr. and his wife Lori Jentzen of Glastonbury, her brother Robert Golden of Avon, and five grandchildren Catherine, Elizabeth, Caroline, Michael, and Matthew.

The family would like to thank the staff at Masonicare Health Center for their tireless dedication and outstanding care.

Arrangements – A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at St. Bridget of Sweden Parish / St. Bridget Church, 175 Main St, Cheshire, 06410. Family and friends are asked to meet directly at church. Burial will follow in St. Bridget Cemetery. There are no calling hours and The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main St, 06410 is assisting the family with arrangements.
