Mary Dziedzic

CHESHIRE - Mary T. (Salvatore) Dziedzic, 88, passed away Wednesday December 29, 2010 at the Alzheimer's Resource Center in Plantsville with her family at her side. She was the wife of the late Frank Dziedzic.

Mrs. Dziedzic was born March 29, 1922 in Cheshire, the daughter of the late James and Theresa (Schieffer) Salvatore. She was a lifelong resident as well as a communicant of St. Bridget Church. After raising her family she was employed at DeVylder's Florist, Lucore's Laundromat, Marbridge Rest Home and the Ye Olde Book Bindery. She enjoyed playing Boggle and was an avid Boston Bruins fan.

Mrs. Dziedzic is survived by her son Thomas Dziedzic of Georgia; her three daughters Patricia Kerwin of Massachusetts, Mary Snedeker of Cheshire and Dorothy Dziedzic of Cheshire; her sister Theresa Smith of Cheshire; ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her son Frank J. Dziedzic as well as her brothers John and Joseph Salvatore.

Arrangements - Funeral services will be held on Monday January 3, 2011, 9:15 from the Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire to St. Bridget Church for Mass at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Bridget Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
