Mary Almeida

NAUGATUCK- Mary B. Almeida, 71, passed away Friday February 1, 2013 at Waterbury Hospital. She was the wife of Walter B. Almeida.

She was born April 13, 1941 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Homer and Dorothy (O'Connor) Bronneke.

Mary attended and graduated from Waterbury Catholic High School, and Post University. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Union City where she was a Member of the Legion of Mary.

Besides her husband she is survived by two daughters Kristin and her husband John Cortes of Wallingford, and Jaclyn and her husband Kevin Kilmovich of Naugatuck; a brother Samuel Potter Bronneke of Yerington, NV; and four granddaughters Victoria and Katelyn Cortes, and Samantha and Tabitha Klimovich.

Arrangements- Mary's funeral will be held Monday February 4, 2013 10:15 A.M from the Mulville Funeral Home, 270 West Main St, Waterbury, 06702, to St. Mary's Church, 338 North Main St, Union City, 06770 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery, 203 Spring Lake Rd Waterbury, CT 06706. Calling hours will be held from 9 A.M until the procession leaves for church at the funeral home. Donations in her name may be made to St. Mary's Church, 338 North Main St, Union City, CT 06770.
