Joseph Marques

Naugatuck Joseph L. Marques, 62, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2013 at Waterbury Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Caroline (Sebolao) Marques .

Mr. Marques was born on October 17, 1950 in Guarda, Portugal a son of the late Francisco and Luzia Marques. He was the owner of Torreira Restaurant in Beacon Falls. He was a member of Clube Uniao Portuguesa in Naugatuck.

Besides his wife Caroline, he was survived by his four daughters, Suzanne Marques of Cape Coral, FL, Joanne Marques of Naugatuck, Monica Vitzoski of Beacon Falls, Laura Vitzoski of Beacon Falls, one sister, Vina Martins and her husband John of Naugatuck, two grandsons, John and Matthew Capristo.

The funeral will be held on Friday, September 20, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave, Naugatuck. Entombment will be in St. James Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
