Mark Bemis

NAUGATUCK- Mark Alden Bemis, 47, passed away, Thursday, June 10, 2010 at his residence.

Mark was born May 12, 1963, in Waterbury and was the son of the late Fred M. and his wife Priscilla (Alden) Bemis.

Mark was a graduate of Cheshire High School, Class of 1982. He was employed at Braman Chemical as an Exterminator.

Mark was a devoted and loving father to his children; he was an avid Skeet Shooter, Skier, and Hiker which he loved to do with his family, and was an Hartford Whalers, and Dallas Cowboys fan.

Mark is survived by a son Conor Alden Bemis of Cheshire; a daughter Carly Grace Bemis of Cheshire; he was the beloved brother of his two sisters, Cynthia Szczepanski of Morris, and Susan and her husband Gregory Smith of Cheshire; two nephews Marty and Justin Smith of Cheshire; and his former wife Carrie Bemis of Cheshire.

Arrangements- Mark's funeral service will be held 10 A.M, Saturday, June 19, 2010 at The Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main Street. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Wallingford Rd., Cheshire. Calling hours will be held from 8 A.M until the beginning of the service Saturday morning.
