CHESHIRE - Mario Fasulo, 56, passed away peacefully, after a long illness, on Wednesday, September 13, 2017, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of Nicoletta (Alterio) and the late Amelio Fasulo.
Mr. Fasulo was born February 12, 1961 in New Castle, Australia, and attended Eli Whitney Technical High School in Hamden, where he earned valedictorian of the class of 1979. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Hartford - Ward College of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering degree. Mr. Fasulo was an Electrical Development Engineer for Kaman Corporation of Middletown.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Fasulo is survived by his brother, Severino Fasulo of Cheshire and his sister, Maria Teresa Fasulo of Cheshire. He will also be missed by his nephew, Jacob Black, who is a fire fighter with the United States Air Force.
The family would like to thank the amazing staff at Masonicare Home Health & Hospice in Wallingford for being so kind and caring not only to Mario, but to his family as well.
Arrangements – A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at St. Bridget Church, 175 Main St., Cheshire. Entombment will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery Mausoleum. Friends may call at The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home, 615 South Main St., Cheshire, Saturday morning, prior to the service, from 8:30 until 9:30 A.M. Memorial contributions, in Mario’s name, may be made to Masonicare Home Health & Hospice in Wallingford.
