Maria A. Santos

Naugatuck - Maria A. Santos, 85, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 11, 2022, at VITAS at St. Mary's Hospital. She was the wife of Herminio Santos.

Mrs. Santos was born September 3, 1936, in Setubal, Portugal, the daughter of the late Domingos and Albertina Marques. She was a longtime Naugatuck resident moving to town in 1969. She worked at both Uniroyal and Peter Paul.

Maria was a fun-loving woman who enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, tending to her flower bed, knitting, sewing, and traveling.

Besides her husband of 58 years, Mrs. Santos is survived by her sons Carlos Santos and Michael Santos and his wife Shannon; as well as her grandchildren Madison, Holly, and Aaron Santos.

Arrangements – Funeral services and committal in St. James Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
