Margaret Kelly

Margaret Kelly, age 77, of Cheshire entered into rest on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at her home. Margaret was born on June 16, 1943 in Waterbury, daughter of the late James and Anastasia “Anna” (Lawlor) Kelly.

She earned her Bachelor’s degree from the College of New Rochelle and later was the Librarian at the main library at Bloomsburg University in Bloomsburg, PA. Margaret was a content and happy person who enjoyed helping others, as she did for several years, bringing her therapy dog to local nursing homes.

She is the beloved cousin of Suzanne M. Lawlor of Wellfleet, MA and several other cousins. Margaret also leaves many loving friends who will miss her dearly.

A Graveside Service for Margaret will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at 9:30AM in St. Bridget Cemetery, Higgins Road, Cheshire. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire has been entrusted with her arrangements. To leave online condolences for her family, please visit www.fordfh.com
