Margaret Andersen

CHESHIRE- Margaret Mary (Mulcahy) Andersen, 73, passed away Thursday April 21, 2013 after a brief illness surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Carl Andersen.

She was born December 29, 1939 in New Haven daughter of the late John E. and Margaret (Harten) Mulcahy.

Margaret was a graduate of St. Mary's High School in New Haven. She was a communicant of St. Thomas Becket Church.

Besides her husband she is survived by four sons, Steven Andersen of Cheshire, Peter and his wife Charlotte Andersen of Loveland, OH, Brian and his wife Susan Andersen of Thompson, and Kevin and his wife Robyn Andersen of Plainville; and eight grandchildren.

Arrangements- Margaret's funeral will be held 9:15 A.M Tuesday March 26, 2013 from The Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main St, 06410 to St. Thomas Becket Church, 435 North Brooksvale Rd, Cheshire, CT 06410 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. Burial will follow in St. Bridget Cemetery, Higgins Rd, Cheshire. Calling hours will be held Monday March 25, 2013 from 4 to 8 P.M at the funeral home. Donations in her name may be made to Friends of the Cheshire Public Library, 104 Main St, Cheshire, CT 06410 or to a charity of your choice.
