Manuel 'Manny' Morales

Southington ' Manuel "Manny" Morales, 36, of Southington, passed away January 18, 2010 at Yale New Haven Hospital after a long battle with Leukemia.

Manny was born October 18, 1973 in Brooklyn, NY the son of Manuel Morales and the late Anne (Gonzales) Morales. He was a longtime Cheshire resident graduating from Cheshire High School in 1991. He was employed for several years as a Customer Service Representative for AT and T and was an Owner/Operator of a local restaurant and bar.

Besides his father, Manny is survived by his beloved sister Lianne Morales Gerety and her husband Michael of Southington; his wife and best friend of nine years Jody Morales; his aunt Anne Traverso Weir and her husband John and her children Jamie and Alyssa of Hamden; his uncles Gregory Ayala and his son Gregory Jr. of Hamden, John Soto and his wife Gladys of Orange; many cousins and his puppy Papa.

Arrangements ' Funeral services will be held on Friday January 22, 2010 9:15 from the Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. to St. Bridget Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
