WOLCOTT — Lois A. Mancini, 82, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2011, at home after a brief illness.

Lois was born on Sept. 20, 1928, in Naugatuck, a daughter of the late Louis A. Mancini and Juliette (Hanlon) Mancini. She retired from Peter Paul after 45 years as credit manager; she also worked as a dispatcher for the Naugatuck Senior Centers mini bus for many years. She was a communicant of St. Francis Church in Naugatuck.

She is survived by a brother, William J. Mancini and his wife, Carole, of Naugatuck; three nieces, Linda Dominici and her husband, Richard, Leslie Spring, and Lori Bozzuto and her husband, Larry, all of Wolcott; and her personal friends, Mark and Denise Taravella of Wolcott. She also leaves seven great nieces and nephews, Anthony and Angela Dominici, Heather and Christopher Spring, and Dominic, Lauren and Salvatore Bozzuto, and her three cherished cats, Inky, Socks and Kitty Kitty.

A memorial service will be held 9 a.m. Saturday, April 2, 2011, at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 318 Church St., Naugatuck. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery. There are no calling hours. The Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave., Naugatuck, is in charge of arrangements.
