Madalin Galgot
WATERBURY- Mrs. Madalin A. (Pickett) Galgot, 92, passed away peacefully at Highland Health Care, on Friday, Oct. 29, 2010 with her son by her side.
Madalin was born Aug. 14, 1918 in Thomaston, CT. Daughter of Chester and Bernice Pickett. Madalin worked at Waterbury Clock, Scovill Mfg., and Caldor. Graduated from Wilby H.S., 1936. She was an accomplished figure skater and helped her husband found the Watertown Skating Club. Madalin's cheerful nature and positive attitude will not be forgotten.
She is survived by her son Keith Galgot of Waterbury and was predeceased by her husband John Galgot and brother Randolph Pickett.
Arrangements- Funeral services for Madalin are private. Burial will be held at Hillside Cemetery, Thomaston at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
