Lynne Marie Tucker

NAUGATUCK- Mrs. Lynne Marie (Hammer) Tucker, 59, of Naugatuck, passed away early Monday August 3, 2015 at the Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale-New Haven. She was the widow of Gene Tucker.

Mrs. Tucker was born in Waterbury, April 4, 1956, a daughter of Mrs. Sylvia (Johnson) Hammer and the late Irving B. Hammer. She was a graduate of Naugatuck High School and had been active in the Pro-Life movement. She attended Central Baptist Church in Southington and had been active with Signing for the Deaf.

She leaves two sons, Kristopher Tucker of Rocky Point, N.C. and Cody Tucker of Hampstead, N.C.; 3 brothers, Brian Hammer of Los Angeles, CA, Paul Hammer of Vernon, and Carl Hammer of MI. and 3 grandchildren, Shaelyn, Liam, and Cole Tucker.

A memorial service will be held on Friday Aug. 7, 2015 at10 a.m., at Central Baptist Church, 1505 West St., Southington, 06489-1062. There are no calling hours. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. is assisting the family with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Lynne’s memory may be made to the Central Baptist Church, 1505 West St., Southington, CT 06489-1062.
