Lois Lukeski

Prospect - Lois (Rodman) (Doback) Lukeski, 82, passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2014 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Thaddeus (Ted) Lukeski.

Mrs. Lukeski was born on November 10, 1931 in Shamokin, Pa., the daughter of the late Marlin and Mabel (Davies) Rodman. Lois was longtime employee of the Naugatuck Rubber Company and retired from the Waterbury Visiting Nurses Association where she was a Certified Nurse’s Assistant.

Mrs. Lukeski is survived by two daughters, Pamela Crispino, and her husband, Joe of Meriden and Lois Caron and Jim Stringer of Terryville, two sons, Scott Lukeski of Prospect, and John Lukeski and his wife Kelley of Prospect. She will also be missed by her seven grandchildren, Joseph, Amy, Matt, Brie, Taylor, Nicole and Alyssa, and six great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Lukeski is also survived by her brother, Charles (Jack) and his wife Mary Rodman of Naugatuck, several nieces and nephews and her cousin/best friend, Adeline Amador of Florida.

All arrangements for Mrs. Lukeski will be private. The Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 26 Waterbury Rd, Rte. 69, Prospect, is in charge of her arrangements.

Donations can be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Easter Seals per Lois’s request.
