Lucy Appleby

CHESHIRE- Lucy Appleby, 75, passed away Saturday, January 26, 2019 at St. Mary’s Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Appleby in 1994.



She was born July 31, 1944 in Fall River, MA daughter of the late Joseph C. and Deolinda (Cabral) Alves.



Mrs. Appleby is survived by her son Brian Appleby of Cheshire; two daughters Debbie Appleby and her fiancé Dale Robertson of Milford, and Kim Appleby and her husband Noah Cox of Springfield, MO; a brother Joseph Alves of Fall River, MA; her two sisters Sandra and her husband Joseph Santos of Fall River, MA, and Lisa Alves Lent of Palm Bay, FL; ten grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.



Arrangements- Calling hours for Lucy will be held 5 to 7 P.M, Thursday, January 31, 2019 at The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main St, 06410. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Donations in her name can be made to Alzheimer's Association Connecticut Chapter, 200 Executive Blvd S #4b, Southington, CT 06489.
