Lucille C. Wieduwilt

CHESHIRE- Lucille C. Wieduwilt, 80, passed away Friday, November 15, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family. She was predeceased by her loving husband Francis “Frank” J. Wieduwilt after 58 years of marriage.

She was born November 29, 1938 in Jersey City, NJ daughter of Charles and Nancy (Ippolito) Mafaraci.

Lucille worked 19 years at Marshalls in Cheshire where she met many lifelong friends. She was a passionate baker who especially loved to make and share Christmas cookies. She was an devoted Elvis Presley fan and enjoyed watching tennis on TV. Most of all she was a kind and generous person who was always eager to help and care for others.

Lucille is survived by her son Mark and his wife Karen Wieduwilt of New Hartford, CT; daughter Nancy and her husband Rick Johnson of Cheshire; sister Vera Custance of Garden City Park, NY; and three grandchildren Emma, Sara, and Clare. She was predeceased by her son Thomas J. Wieduwilt.

All services for Mrs. Wieduwilt will be private and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main St is assisting with the arrangements.
