Lucille A. Esposito, 88, of Cheshire and short time resident of Vero Beach, FL, entered into rest on Thursday January 29, 2015 at Elim Park Health Baptist Home in Cheshire. She was the devoted wife of the late Salvatore F. Esposito.
Lucille was born on September 5, 1926 in New Haven, Daughter of the late Giacomo and Venceno (Luppino) Ernandez.
Lucille was a passionate cook and loved baking, after all she was Italian. She worked in the food industry in Cheshire at The Waverly Inn, Norton School and Cheshire Academy, and during her spare time she would crochet blankets and baby booties for those she knew. Lucille was a remarkable mother to her three sons and a doting grandmother and great grandmother, her family was her life.
She is the beloved mother of Robert "Bob" Esposito of Vero Beach, FL; Richard "Rick" Esposito of Meriden and Frank J. Esposito and his wife Linda of Vero Beach, loving grandmother of Kimberly Boda and her husband Larry; Sabrina Carpenter, Allison Esposito, Greg and Matthew Esposito; and her cherished great grandchildren Lucas and Spencer and Micah and Isaiah. Lucille was predeceased by her brothers and sisters.
Arrangements - All services for Lucille will be private and at the convenience of her family. There are no calling hours. At the request of her family, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 825 Brook Street, I-91 Tech Ctr., Rocky Hill, CT 06067-3045.
