CHESHIRE - Louis Notaro, 72, passed away Saturday December 3, 2011 at Hartford Hospital.
Louis Notaro was born November 3, 1939 in Albany, NY, the son of the late Louis and Margaret (Saulpaugh) Notaro. He graduated from Philip Schulyer High School in NY before entering the United States Army where he was stationed in Germany. He was employed as a Machinist for IGC and then Outokumpu Advanced Superconductor of Waterbury before his retirement in the early 2000's.
Louis is survived by his son Adrian & Tina Notaro; grandson Kaleb of Scottsdale, AZ; his daughter Nicole & husband Chris Panzella of Higganum; grandchildren Olivia and Samantha will miss their Poppa Lou very much; his brother Andrew Notaro of CT; his sisters Margret Mohrmann and Jane Brantigan of NY; and his former wife Bernice (Bortel) Notaro of Cheshire. He is predeceased by his brothers William and Frank Notaro of NY and his sister Mary Keys.
Louis will be remembered for his dry and funny sense of humor and bragging rights for looking so much like Sean Connery.
Arrangements - Funeral services will be held on Saturday December 10, 2011 at the Rockerfeller Funeral Home, 165 Columbia Turnpike, Rensselaer, NY. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens in Albany, NY. Calling hours will be held on Thursday December 8, 2011 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S.
