Lois Pierpont

Waterbury ' Lois G. Pierpont, 96, formerly of Scott Rd., passed away Friday morning October 30, 2009 at Cheshire House in Waterbury. She was the wife of the late Ralph B. Pierpont.

Mrs. Pierpont was born February 7, 1913 in Waterbury the daughter of the late William M. and Iva (Miller) Gillette. She was a life-long Waterbury resident where she was a member of the Mill Plain Union Church. She was also a member of the Millicent Porter, Trumbull chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Mrs. Pierpont is survived by her sons James Pierpont and his wife Judy of Southbury and William Pierpont and his wife Christine of Waterbury; three grandchildren Nancy Barbaris, Douglas Pierpont and Jim Pierpont Jr. and four great grandchildren.

Arrangements ' A Funeral Service will be held on Friday November 13, 2009 at 10 a.m. at the Mill Plain Union Church, 242 Southmayd Rd. Waterbury. Burial will follow in Old Pine Grove Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mill Plain Union Church, Endowment Fund, 242 Southmayd Rd., Waterbury, CT 06705. The Alderson Funeral Home of Waterbury, 9 Holmes Ave. is in charge of arrangements.
