Merritt Loc

Naugatuck, CT Merritt Seng Loc, 77, husband of Pathouma Loc, died May 15, 2022 at his home.

Mr. Loc was born July 3, 1944 in China and had resided in Naugatuck for the past 15 years. Before he retired, he worked as a machinist for Pitney Bowes in Danbury.

During the Vietnam War, Mr. Loc joined the Laotian Army and assisted the U.S. forces. This is where he met his wife and together they immigrated to America.

In addition to Pathouma, his wife of 55 years, he is survived by his sons, Hoi Loc (Vieng) and Takki Loc (Phouvaly); his daughter, Chinthana Stolze (Matthew); his 6 grandchildren; his brother, Kong Loc (Mary); his sisters, Chan Seerveld (Thomas) and Mee Loc and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be Friday, May 20, 2022 from 5-8pm at the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue, Naugatuck. Funeral services will be Saturday from 12:00pm to 1:00pm at the funeral home, followed by a procession to the Stone Family Crematory, 125 Bullet Hill North, Southbury, CT, followed by a gathering at the home of Takki & Phouvaly Loc, 143 Evelyn Drive, Naugatuck, CT.
