Waterbury ' Lloyd O. Creasy, 94, of Scott Rd. and formerly of Meriden Rd. passed away February 5, 2009 at his residence. He was the husband of the late Rachel (Evans) Creasy.
Mr. Creasy was born April 14, 1914 in Bloomsburg, PA the son of the late Warren and Florence (Eddinger) Creasy. He moved to Connecticut in 1940 and worked at Scovill Manufacturing during WWII. He was a mechanic for SNET for 33 years until his retirement in 1979 and was a member of Mill Plain Union Church.
Mr. Creasy was an active member of Harmony Lodge #42 A.F. Scottish Rite Bodies, Valley of Waterbury; Lafayette Consistory, 32nd Degree, Valley of Bridgeport and the Sphinx Shriners of Hartford. He was also a member of Kaabans Shrine Club and the Royal Order of Jesters Dimaryp Court #66.
Mr. Creasy is survived by his daughters Margaret Reagan and her husband Robert of Niantic and Barbara DiNicholas of Waterbury; five grandchildren Michael Reagan and his wife Kathleen of Avon, Sean Reagan and his wife Bridget of Hingham, MA, Kyle Reagan and his wife Heather of Amherst, NH, Donna Parenteau and her husband Greg of Wolcott, Dana Tilton and her husband Glenn of Oxford; and twelve great-grandchildren, Greg, Patrick, Matthew, Dan, Ryan, Cameron, Molly, Bryce, Drew, Sarah, Rachel and Kaitlyn. He is predeceased by his brothers Harold, Woodrow and Warren.
Arrangements ' Funeral services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Alderson Funeral Home of Waterbury, 9 Holmes Ave. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Children, Carew St., Springfield, MA 01104.
