Lita M. Fletcher

CHESHIRE - Lita M. Fletcher, 70, passed away on Monday, August 5, 2019 at VITAS at St. Mary’s Hospital. She was the wife of George W. Fletcher Sr.

Mrs. Fletcher was born September 4, 1948, in New Haven, daughter of the late Louis E. and Mary (Pascarella) Terzini. She graduated from Elm City Beauty Academy as a hair dresser.

Lita, a loving mother, had a heart that cared deeply, and she showed that love by being very giving, keeping in touch with people, and cooking. Everyone will especially miss her homemade meatballs and sauce, pasta fasul, stuffed clams, and Christmas cookies. Lita had a fighting spirit and previously fought and won a battle with cancer.

In addition to her husband of 52 years, Mrs. Fletcher is survived by her sons, George Fletcher Jr., Donald Fletcher Sr. and his wife Carlene, and her daughter, Tina Zajac and her husband, Matt, her sister, Karen Baird, and her brothers, Louis E. Terzini and Kenneth Terzini. She will also be missed by her grandchildren, Donnie, Danielle, Tyler, Madison and Aidan, and several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements- Services for Mrs. Fletcher will be private. There are no calling hours and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
