Linus Darley

Cheshire ' Linus V. Darley, 82, of Old Lane Rd., passed away Sunday April 12, 2009 at the Hospital of St. Raphael in New Haven. He was the husband of Shirley (Reardon) Darley.

Mr. Darley was born May 31, 1926 in New Haven the son of the late Linus L. and Myrtle J. (Troiano) Darley. He was a WWII Navy Veteran and a long time Cheshire resident. He was also a member of the Mt. Carmel Congregational Church in Hamden.

Besides his wife, Mr. Darley is survived by his sons Lee L. Darley of Wallingford, Lloyd E. Darley of Bristol and Lyle W. Darley of Wolcott as well as nine grandchildren.

Arrangements ' Funeral services and burial are private and will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. The Slater Funeral Home of Cheshire is in charge of arrangements.
