Linda Paternoster

NAUGATUCK - Linda Paternoster, 57, passed away Wednesday morning at St. Mary's Hospital with her family by her side. She was the wife of John Paternoster.

Linda was born January 21, 1954 in Bridgeport the daughter of the late Salvatore and Carmella (DeLucia) Impellitteri. She was a 1972 graduate of Central High School and had been a Naugatuck resident since the late 1970's. She was employed for many years at both Edwards and Big Y Supermarkets. She was a devoted mother who loved being with her children and grandchildren.

Besides her husband of 39 years, Linda is survived by her sons Michael and his wife Patrica and Steven and his wife Amy all of Naugatuck; her sister Rita Wtorkowski and her husband Joe of Guilford; as well as her grandchildren Jussonjah, Matthew, and Melissa.

Arrangements - Funeral services will be held on Friday August 26, 2011 10:15 from the Alderson Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. to St. Francis of Assisi Church for Mass at 11 a.m. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Connecticut Children's Medical Center 282 Washington St., Hartford, CT 06106.
