Linda Marie Carrano

Linda Marie (DeVito) Carrano, 65 of Meriden, passed away Wednesday December 8, 2021 at Hartford Hospital. She was the loving wife of James Carrano with whom she shared 25 years of marriage.

Linda was born October 25, 1956 in Waterbury a daughter of the late Joseph L. and Katherine (Casso) DeVito. She was a graduate of Cheshire High School as well as the University of Bridgeport earning her degree in Journalism and Communications. Linda had worked in the insurance industry for many years, retiring to spend time with her family. She was an animal lover and also enjoyed cooking, gardening and reading. Linda was a Communicant of Saint Bridget of Sweden Parish in Cheshire.

Besides her husband James, she leaves her brother, Richard DeVito of Cheshire, her sisters-in-law, Karen Musante of Monroe and Marianne Dixon of Florida, her brother-in-law, Richard Carrano of Massachusetts and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services in celebration of Linda’s life will be held on Monday December 13, 2021 beginning at 9:15 a.m. from the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire to Saint Bridget of Sweden Parish/ Saint Bridget Church 175 Main Street in Cheshire for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Burial in Saint Bridget Cemetery will be held privately. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Sunday December 12, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers contributions in Linda’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society P.O.
