Linda Johnson

NAUGATUCK- Mrs. Linda Anne (Greene) Johnson, 58 of Naugatuck, died early Wednesday morning Mar. 11, 2009 at Conn. Hospice in Branford. She was the wife of Everett F. Johnson.

Mrs. Johnson was born in Stamford, Oct. 21, 1950, a daughter of Ann Marie (Smolinski) Greene and the late William Greene and has been a Naugatuck resident for the past 35 years, moving here from Monroe. She was educated in the Stamford school system and was a graduate J.M. Wright Technical School. She was the owner of Self Image Beauty Salon in Naugatuck for over 20 years until about 10 years ago. Linda found great enjoyment spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.

Besides her Mother of Naugatuck and her husband of 42 years, she leaves her children and their spouses; Victoria Prickett and her husband Roger of Port St. Lucie, Fl., Cheryl Waters and her husband Richard of Watertown, and Everett F. Johnson, Jr. and his wife Mickie of Waterbury; one sister; Kathleen Linhard of Waterbury and 7 grandchildren, Nicholas, Jesse, Shawn, Ricky, Joey, Britney, and Kyle.

Her funeral services will be held on Saturday Mar. 14, 2009 at 11 am at the Alderson Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 9 am until the time of the service.
