Linda Forcinelli

Linda Nacewicz Forcinelli, age 72, passed away suddenly of natural causes in her home in Cheshire, CT on March 5, 2020. She was the wife of the late John Forcinelli and daughter of the late Irene and John Nacewicz. She was raised in Stratford (Lordship), CT and later moved to Cheshire, CT after her marriage. She was a graduate of Stratford High School and attended WCSU – then known as Danbury State Teachers’ College. During her working years, she held positions as a computer programmer, office manager, and book keeper.

Linda was an avid reader, enjoyed crossword puzzles, and loved the movies, both current and classic (particularly Alfred Hitchcock). She was also an ardent sports fan, frequently watching tennis, figure skating, basketball (UCONN), and baseball (Boston Red Sox). She and her husband, John, enjoyed nurturing their beloved cats and always looked forward to their summer trips to Tenants Harbor, Maine.

She will be best remembered for her wit and wry sense of humor and will be greatly missed. Survivors include her sister, Joyce and brother-in-law, Terry Clune of Naples, FL; lifelong friends, Stephanie Golub of Stratford, CT and Peggy Campbell Black of Tenants Harbor, ME; her faithful friend and frequent caregiver, Judy Bridgett of Meriden, CT; and her aunt and uncle, Lillian and Richard Estes of Stratham, NH.
