Lillian E. Schilling

WOLCOTT- Lillian E. Schilling, 93, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 21, 2020. She was the widow of Frederick S. Schilling.

Lillian was born in Waterbury on April 1, 1926, daughter of the late George and Frances (Whiteman) Partiss.

Lillian was a telephone operator at Southern New England Telephone and Sears prior to her retirement. She was a member of the Wolcott Congregational Church, Wolcott VFW Auxiliary, Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile, Sphinx Kaabans Shrine Club and Wolcott Grange.

Lillian is survived by her children, William Frederick Schilling and his wife Linda of Westport, MA and Sheila Kay Levanti and her husband James of Wolcott; grandmother of Michael Schilling, Meghan Rogers, Maria Levanti and Nicholas Levanti; and great-grandmother of William Schilling; sister of Robert Partiss of Hemet, CA and seven predeceased siblings.

Calling hours are 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home, 496 Chase Ave., Waterbury. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, February 27, 2020 at Wolcott Congregational Church, 185 Center Street, Wolcott. Family and friends are asked to meet directly at the church.
