Lila Lange

Mrs. Lila (Marsh) Lange, 95, of Middlebury formerly of Waterbury died Tuesday May 5, 2009 at Waterbury Hospital. She was the widow of Albert G. Lange, Sr.

Mrs. Lange was born September 1, 1913 in Waterbury a daughter of the late Heber and Belle (Bailey) Marsh and was a longtime Waterbury resident, moving to Middlebury 3 years ago. She was educated in Waterbury schools and was a communicant of Saint John's Episcopal Church in Waterbury where she was a member of the Altar Guild.

She leaves her son Albert G. Lange, Jr. of Thomaston, her daughter, Donna Bock of Middlebury with whom she made her home, her brother, the Rev. Donald Marsh of York, Maine, 8 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Lange will be held Thursday May 7 at 11a.m. at Saint John's Episcopal Church in Waterbury. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Watertown. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Altar Guild at Saint John's Episcopal Church 16 Church Street Waterbury, CT. 06702. The Alderson Funeral Home of Waterbury 9 Holmes Avenue has care of arrangements.
