Carol Light

MIDDLEBURY - Carol (Bradshaw) Light, 81, passed away on Friday, May 9, 2014 at Middlebury Convalescent Home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late George H. Light.

Mrs. Light was born on July 23, 1932 in Naugatuck, the daughter of the late Thomas P. and Katherine (Garrick) Bradshaw. She was a registered nurse for American Cyanamid (now Cytec) for 35 years.

Carol is survived by her step-daughter, Yvonne Thompson, and her husband, Robert, of Prospect; her granddaughters, Yvonne Slowik and her husband, Rick, and Patricia Magrin, of Cheshire; and her grandson, Fran Thompson, of Waterbury. She will also be missed by her three great-grandchildren, Hayley, Erica and Ricky. She was predeceased by her brother, Thomas Bradshaw.

The memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 13, at 11 a.m. at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 26 Waterbury Rd, Rte. 69, Prospect. Burial will be at St. James Cemetery, Naugatuck. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday morning from10 a.m. until the start of the service.
