WOODBRIDGE- Letitia Maria Soybel-Genest, 62, passed away Friday March 18, 2011 at her home. She was the wife of Curtis A. Genest.
Letitia was born October 22, 1948 in Englewood, NJ and was the daughter of the late Frank and Letitia (Pepe) Jannuzzi.
She attended The Stone Academy where she received a bachelor's degree in Court Stenography. She was employed as a Court Monitor in the New Haven Superior Court prior to her retirement.
Besides her husband Letitia is survived by a son Tristan and his wife Melissa Soybel of Kensington; two daughters Laura and her husband Joshua Tomkus of Moodus, and Janine and her husband James Deberadinis of Prospect; a brother Anthony F. Jannuzzi of East Hanover, NJ; a sister Linda and her husband William Mitchell of Cranbury, NJ; and nine grandchildren Jordan, Gabriella, Ava Lily, Tanner, Riley, Joshua, Ryan, Brooke, and Lauren.
Arrangements- Letitia's funeral will be held Monday March 21, 2011 10:15 A.M from the Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main St, 06410 to St. Bridget Church, 175 Main Street, Cheshire, CT 06410 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be held Sunday March 20, 2011 from 2 to 5 P.M at the funeral home. Donations in Letitia's name may be made to The Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation, P.O. Box 7669, Atlanta, GA 30357.
