Steven Leigh

Naugatuck-Steven Leigh, 52, of 1 Winslow Court, passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at Midstate Medical Center with his family by his side. He was the husband of Anita (Lopes) Leigh.

Mr. Leigh was born on March 16, 1957 in New Haven a son of the late Frank and Jean (Van Sans) Leigh. Mr. Leigh worked as a personal trainer, a karate instructor and also prevoiusly worked as a real estate agent and in construction. He was a US Army Veteran and a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Naugatuck.

Besides his wife of Naugatuck he is survived by two daughters, Kelly Leigh-Bookless and her husband John of Naugatuck and Jennifer Leigh-Bernadini and her husband Michael of Waterbury, son, Eric Leigh of Naugatuck, sister, Toni Jean Leigh of West Haven, three brother, Harry Leigh of West Haven, Gregory Leigh of Wallingford, Mark Leigh of FL, two grandsons, Ryan Bernadini and Tyler Leigh.


Funeral Services and burial with full military honors will be held in CT State Veterans Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave, Naugatuck on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 from 6-8 p.m.
