Claremont, NH Raymond W. Lee, 97, died May 22, 2022 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. Ray was the widow of Shirley (McAvoy) Lee, Shirley Lee and Gladys F. (Quaid) Lee.

Ray was born May 23, 1924 in Beacon Falls, CT son of the late Daniel Charles Lee and Hazel (Stinson) Lee. He retired from the chemical division of Uniroyal, Inc. and was a proud World War II United States Army Veteran. Ray was an active member of Shriners International, where he volunteered playing the banjo with the Shriners Band at charitable events. Ray was an avid camper and he and Gladys enjoyed many years of camping together.

Ray is survived by his daughter, Pamela Louise Ruedemann; his grandchildren and great grandchildren; his step-daughter, Darlene Thompson (Chris); his step-sons, Charles Vivian (Carol), Richard Vivian, Michael Vivian (Barb) and David Vivian (Lisa); his step grandchildren and great grandchildren and his many nieces and nephews. Ray was predeceased by his son, Raymond W. Lee, Jr. and his brother, Daniel Lee.

Graveside Services with Military Honors accorded will be Thursday, May 26, 2022 at 12:30pm at St. James Cemetery, Cross Street, Naugatuck, CT. Everyone attending is asked to please meet directly at the cemetery. There are no calling hours and arrangements have been entrusted to the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue, Naugatuck, CT.
