Naugatuck, CT Brian T. Leary, 61, the husband of Sandra A. (Zeitz) Leary, died Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at his home.
Brian was born on August 1, 1955 in Bridgeport, CT a son of Elizabeth “Betty” (Fernley) Leary and the late Thomas J. Leary and had lived in Naugatuck over 20 years and was a U.S. Navy Veteran. Brian worked for American Green Fuels, and had previously worked at Standard Demolition, J.J. Brennan Construction and Macton and Brian was a former member of Local 478.
In addition to his wife Sandra of Naugatuck and his mother of Florida, Brian leaves his daughter, Diane Leary and his son, Justin Leary both of Naugatuck and his niece, Kelly (Minor) McDonnell of Florida. In addition to his father, Brian was predeceased by his sister, Shannon Leary.
Calling hours will he held on Monday, May 8, 2017 from 5-7pm at the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue, Naugatuck. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers and to honor Brian’s memory, contributions may be made to Bikers Against Animal Cruelty, P.O. Box 68, North Haven, CT 06473.
