Douglas C. Klish

NAUGATUCK — Douglas C. Klish, 69, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 22, 2011 at Waterbury Hospital. He was the husband of Nancy (Hill) Klish.
Mr. Klish was born on Nov. 6, 1942 in Waterbury, a son of the late Joseph and Anna (Englehardt) Klish. He was retired from GTE, where he worked as an accountant for many years.
He was an Army veteran having served during the Vietnam era. He was a member of Salem Lutheran Church and he also taught Sunday School there, and currently worked at Education Connection transporting students.
Besides his loving wife of Naugatuck, he is survived by a son, Jonathan Klish of Naugatuck; a daughter, Gretchen Brooks and her husband Jeff of Watertown; one brother Joseph Klish and his wife Sue of Farmington; and his grandson, Carter Brooks.
The funeral will be held on Thursday, Dec. 29, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Salem Lutheran Church, 14 Salem St., Naugatuck. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave., Naugatuck on Wednesday evening from 5 to 8 p.m.
