Dolores Arlene ( Dubuque) Kiley, 89, formerly of Waterbury passed away on Wednesday March23, 2011 at the Highland Health Care in Cheshire surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of the late John Kiley.
Dolores was born in Waterbury on September 17, 1921 and was the daughter of the late Charles and Beatrice Byron Dubuque. She was partners with her husband John of Kileys Men’s Shop in Waterbury for 22 years. Dolores was an avid bridge player and golfer. Her family would like to send their heartfelt appreciation to the staff of the 2nd floor at the Highland’s for all of the love and care given to Dolores for the past 3 years. She is survived by 2 daughters; Diane Foley and her husband Joseph of Waterbury and Beverly Matakaetis and her husband John of Newington, her beloved son John Kiley Jr. of Southbury Training School, and 1 brother Leonard Dubuque and his wife Barbara of West Virginia. She also leaves 7 loving grandchildren, Kelly Feist, Kimberly Rinko, Ryan Foley, Megan Morgan, Kyle Foley, Blair Foley and Ashley Foley and 2 great grandchildren Jack and Callan Rinko.
A funeral mass will be held on Monday March 28, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Church, 4 Union City Rd, Prospect. Family and friends are asked to meet directly at church. There are no calling hours. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. The Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home 26 Waterbury Rd Prospect is in care of arrangements.
