Katina (Casey) Boulais, 74, of Milford, DE (formerly of Cheshire, CT) passed away peacefully on May 13, 2021 at her home.
Katina was born October 6, 1946 in Canton, IL, the daughter of the late Gene J. and V. Pauline Casey.
Katina was raised in Canton, IL before her family moved to the Short Beach area of Branford, CT. She graduated in 1964 from Branford High School where she played field hockey and was a member of the Connecticut All-State Chorus. She received a BS in Education from Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, IL. She worked most of her career as a Customer Service Manager at Stanley Works, New Britain, CT, and as a Technical Specialist at Sargent Manufacturing/Assa Abloy, New Haven, CT.
A resident of Cheshire for 40 years, she was involved with Girl Scouts, the Cheshire United Methodist Church, and the Cheshire Community Chorus. She enjoyed traveling throughout Canada and especially loved spending time at her home in Alma, New Brunswick, Canada. She loved music and enjoyed playing the piano, organ, banjo, acoustic, and electric guitars. After retiring to Delaware, she joined the Avenue United Methodist Church and enjoyed playing in their praise band.
Katina will be sadly missed by her husband, Ronald; her children, Edward C. (JoEllen) Schultz, Kirsten Schultz, Ryan (Allison) Boulais; her grandchildren, Edward D. (Lana) Schultz, Chelsea (Anthony) Pagano, Austen (Jessica) Schultz, Andrew, and Lillian Boulais; her great-grandchildren, Audrey and Evelyn Schultz, Linda and Raymond Pagano, Landen and Kaiden Schultz; her brother, Michael (Alexandria) Casey; nephews, Cameron (Cassandra) Casey, Colin Casey; great-niece and nephew, Elaine and Paul Casey; numerous dear cousins and friends; her beloved fur baby, Molly, and her grand-dogs.
Funeral Services in Delaware will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 21, 2021, at the Avenue United Methodist Church, 20 N. Church Street, Milford. In Connecticut, visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 23, 2021, at Alderson-Ford Funeral Home, 615 S. Main Street, Cheshire. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
