Kathryn Cunningham

Kathryn (Daly) Cunningham, 100, of 150 Cook Hill Rd. passed away Saturday, March 21, 2009 at the Elim Park Baptist Home. She was predeceased by her husband Francis R. Cunningham.

Kathryn was born November 8, 1908 in Waterbury, CT. She was the daughter of the late James and Mary (Ryan) Daly.

Kathryn was a communicant of St. Thomas Becket and St. Bridget's Church. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella Ladies Organization at St. Bridget's Church and a member of the Greater Meriden/Wallingford Society for Handicap Citizens.

Kathryn is survived by three sons, F. Richard D.D.S and his wife Lyn Cunningham of West Simsbury, CT, James D. and his wife Carole Cunningham of Tequesta, FL, Brian P. M.D and his wife Janice Cunningham of Bennington, VT, a daughter Carol A. Cunningham of North Brunswick, NJ, eleven grandchildren, and twenty five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Joseph S. Cunningham, and four sisters Margaret Driscoll, Sally Egan, Mary Greene, and Ann Winters.

The family has asked all friends and family attending the funeral services to please join them for a time of fellowship and refreshments following the burial at Elim Park at 11:30 A.M

Arrangements- A Mass of Christian Burial for Kathryn will be held Tuesday, March 24, 9 A.M from The Slater Funeral Home, 242 South Main St, Cheshire, CT 06410 to St. Thomas Becket Church for Mass at 10 A.M. Burial will follow in St. Bridget's Cemetery. Calling Hours will be held Monday March 23, from 5 to 8 P.M at the funeral home. At Kathryn's request in lieu of flowers memorial contributions in her name may be made to the St. Thomas Beckett Rectory Fund, 435 North Brooksvale Rd, Cheshire, CT or to The Office of Radio and Television of the Archdiocese of Hartford, 15 Peach Orchard Road, Prospect, CT 06712.
